Well the weather has taken over again with the fields down in numbers, thank goodness for the hearty few that come out each week. There is plenty of golf coming up – on Saturday June 24 there will be a stableford round, on Saturday July 1 the Taree Toyoto Monthly mug will be played and the Croucher/NSW Men’s 4BBB will be played on July 15.

On Wednesday June 14, 24 hearty veterans played 15 holes. The winner was Bill Osborne with 33 pts. Next was Peter Tait 30 c/b, Sandy Dunn 30, there were no NTP.
Thursday June 15 was a much better day with 33 players with the secretary manager Gary Considine having 24 pts, followed by Rod Brown with a two under par for 22 pts on a countback, Sandy Dunn 22, Craig Harrison 21c/b, Ken Giles 21, Nev Blanch 19 c/b, Dave Andrews 19. The NTP winners on the 3rd was Gary Considine (bet they will do something a bout his handicap) and on the 7th Rod Brown.
Friday June 16 - 11 ladies a stableford, the winner was Di Munro with 19 pts, r/up was Marg Earley 16 c/b, ball winners Deb Stewart, Pat Whiteley.
On Saturday June 17. 39 players went round in a 18 hole stableford. The winner was Garry Masters 39 pts. Syd Gilfillan was the winner of A Grade with 37 c/b, runner-up was Brian Roberts 37, B Grade Brad Staff 38, r/up Cameron Potts 38. The NTP winners were on the 1st/10th winning the Wingham Plaza Butchers voucher was a very modest Nev Blanch, 3rd/12th Manning Natural Healing Peter Bell, 4th/13th Reid Brown, 7th/16th Bayview Seafood Geoff Swaffield, 9th/18th Bent on Food Bill Osborne. Ball winners D. Heywood, J. King, P. Muir, A. Yeo, T. Martin, N. Blanch, B. Sawyer.
