On Wednesday, May 17, the last round of the veterans championship was played resulting in Geoff Swaffield as the A Grade champion. B Grade was won by John Strybis, and Ron Wilson is the C Grade champion. Congratulations to all.
The winner of the day’s competition was Courtenay 3rd: Rod Brown, Adamson 66 nett; next was John Strybis 67, Ron Wilson was 3rd with 69.
The NTP winners were Adrian Yeo on the 3rd/12th and Bill Osborne won the 7th/16th.
The Thursday chook run was won by Tony Lattimore 23 pts, next was Corey Moore 22 c/b, Maitlan Brown 22, Sandy Dunn 21, Grant Gutterson 20 c/b.
The NTP on the 3rd Rod Brown and Daryl Heywood won the 7th.
On Saturday, May Taree Toyoto Monthly Mug was played for and won by Greg Foy with 67 nett. He also wins the Drummond Golf voucher; A Grade nett winner, Rohan Abbott 68; B Grade Richard Clarke 69; C Grade Tony Lattimore 68. Scratch winners Reid Brown 70; B Grade Simon Crowe 84; C Grade Gary Stackman 91.
The NTP winners were on the 1st/10th the Wingham Plaza Butchers Rohan Abbott, Peter Bell won the 3rd/12th: Wingham Gourmet Meats, Rod Brown won the 4th/13th: 7th/16th Bayview Seafood Tony Lattimore; 9th/18th Bent on Food Syd Gilfillan.
Balls went to 72 nett with Ron Wilson winning the last one.
