Council creating more confusion over Wingham pool

MidCoast Council has put out very confusing information about replacing the Wingham Memorial Swimming Pool.

At the community consultation last week I was told in no uncertain terms that the “like for like” pool will only be a 50 metre six lane pool and they only have $1.5m within the grant for this replacement. Now in Mr Hartley's interview on the ABC last Friday he says the replacement pool will consist of three pools in total and if needed there is $2.5m within the grant.

Council is changing its tune and creating more confusion that clarity!

How can the community be sure of what they will eventually get from this council?
