The ageing timber structure will be replaced with a concrete pipe culvert.
The scope of the project also includes realigning The Bucketts Way from east of Hillview Lane to around 50 metres past Wynters Road, and general drainage upgrades in the area of the works.
Traffic control and a temporary bypass will be in place to allow through-traffic at all times during the 10-week construction period, however minor disruptions can be expected.
Motorists are asked to travel with caution, and observe all signage and directions from road crews while this important project is undertaken.
It is anticipated the schedule of works will be completed by early-July, weather permitting.
