Recently approximately 30 members took a trip to Tinonee to learn some of the town’s history. The outing started with a Devonshire tea picnic at Horace Dean Memorial Park.
Jenny Cherry, from the Tinonee Historical Society, gave an interesting talk about Tinonee in the early days. Some of our members were surprised to find out ‘what a hub of a place’ Tinonee was historically.
The photography club visited Nabiac where pictures were taken at the park and down at the river. The photo session was followed by a leisurely lunch at Krambach.
Wingham Probus meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 10am at the Wingham Memorial Services Club.
