Two years ago Bryce’s elder brother, Mitchell took out the event. As a past champion Mitchell was invited to present Bryce with his trophy.
The win means Bryce, 23, can now contest the State championship later this year. It was only the second time he has competed. He was second in his competition debut in Sydney.
There was further success for Manning bodybuilders at the event.
Brooke Hartland, 19, from Tinonee, competing for the first time, won the women’s open bikini class against a lineup of experienced bodybuilders.
She was then runner up as the North coast bikini champion. Brook is Mitchell Orr’s partner and Mitchell assisted both with their preparation. They trained and dieted for 16 weeks leading into the event.
Brooke will now take a break from competition but hopes to enter events in 2018.
