Together!Day is a free event that celebrates community and inclusivity and aims to bring everyone together for a fun-filled day.
Kicking off at 10am and running through to 1pm, everyone is invited to come along and enjoy a free barbecue lunch, face painting, live entertainment, arts and craft activities and giveaways.
MidCoast Council’s Ageing and Disability Services co-ordinator, Liz Green, is looking forward to bringing the event to the Manning region for the first time.
“We’ve been running Together!Day in Forster for two years now and it’s always a fantastic day for our clients, their relatives and the wider community,” Liz said.
“We’re hoping to see some new faces in Taree and everyone is welcome, so we encourage you to bring friends and family along for a fun day out.”
If you’re wondering how MidCoast Council’s Ageing and Disability Services can offer support for you or someone you know, the team will also be on hand to have a chat and provide helpful information.
“Whether you need guidance in navigating your way through the My Aged Care website (myagedcare.gov.au), information about the National Disability Insurance Scheme or would just like a chat to find out how we can help you or your family, come along to Together!Day and meet our friendly team,” Liz said.
