“It made me get over so much anxiety.”
Suffering from anxiety, loosing her locks in the World’s Great Shave was a huge deal for Hannah Lynch. But she did it.
“I’m so proud of myself,” she said.
One of the reasons she was anxious was the amount of people at Taree City Centre on the morning of the event, however she was surrounded by the support of seven friends and family members.
Hannah’s original goal was to reach $500 in donations, but she has far exceeded that. As of the weekend her total was up to $821, with $75 in cash donations still to be uploaded and donations from her TAFE teachers coming in this week.
“I’m pretty amazed at that amount – I did not expect it. Thank you to everyone,” Hannah said.
On a personal note, she is happy with her new do.
“It feels so weird; I keep patting it. It’s so soft, like feathers,” Hannah said.
