Marlee was raised on Bullo River Station, a remote top end cattle station in the Northern Territory. In her fascinating book, she gives a rare insight into her entrepreneurial spirit, business wisdom, appreciation of the beauty of nature and the complexities of remote rural life in Australia.
MidCoast Council’s Library Events Officer, Dannielle Donnelly, is calling for interest in a second talk as this first event is booked out. “The response to Marlee’s visit has been fantastic, so we’ve decided to run an extra event if we get more interest from the local community,” said Danielle.
For those who’d like to meet Marlee and find out more about her life on Bullo River Station, register your interest for a second talk by calling the team at Wingham Library on 6553 4555.
