Koala causes car crash, walks away uninjured
TWO men have been hospitalised after a driver swerved to avoid a koala on the Hume Freeway.

The pair were travelling north on Saturday night at Lilliput and the driver, 40, swerved to miss the animal.
Acting Sergeant Pat Murray said the vehicle was badly damaged after hitting a tree.
“It's such a natural reaction to swerve, but sometimes the better option is to not swerve,” he said.
The koala was not hurt but the two men received minor injuries.
