Kicking off at 10am and finishing up at 1.30pm, the library will join more than 2000 others around the world to celebrate the 9th annual International Games Day.
It’s the second time that MidCoast Libraries have taken part in this annual event and it’s great opportunity for our libraries to introduce fun activities and raise awareness of the social and educational benefits of play.
MidCoast Council’s manager of libraries, Chris Jones, invites people in our community to come along and join in the festivities.
“It’s a great social event for all ages and we’ll have every type of game covered, including card games, board games and more. We also encourage people to bring their own favourites along, ” said Chris.
This event is free to attend and there’s no need to book.
