The free information session will be an opportunity for people to refresh their CPR (cardiac pulmonary resuscitation) skills and to learn about AEDs (automated external defibrillators).
Early CPR saves lives and is an essential life saving skill that is beneficial to everybody.
As AEDs have become more popular and placed in public venues, clubs and other places, it is important to understand the value of the device.
Qualified first aid SES personnel will be on hand to talk about this important skill and to demonstrate the operation of the AED.
The evening is also an opportunity to see and talk to volunteer members of Wingham SES and to look through their headquarters.
The information session starts at 7pm at SES headquarters at 43 Combined Street, Wingham.
A light supper will be provided.
Positions will be limited, so bookings are essential and can be made by calling 6557 0155 by November 7.
