Thunderstorms are a chance on the afternoon of Thursday, October 27 with a high of 28 degrees expected.
Friday will be dominated by showers, with five to 10mm of rain expected to fall. It will reach a high of 22 degrees as the southerly change moves through.
The weekend will see continued showers, however they are lighter with only one to five millimetres expected, with temperatures in the low 20s.
The end of the weekend will not spell the end of rain. Monday will see a chance of storms with a high of 26 degrees and five to 10mm of rain.
“It won’t be raining all day, but definitely showers and a trough coming across the weekend,” said Weatherzone meteorologist James Casey.
“Surfers can expect one to two foot waves by with northerly swells leading into the weekend.”
It will also be very windy out on the water, with a strong north-easterly blowing as the weekend finishes.
