The reality star is taking some "much needed time off" after she was robbed of $11-$14 million worth of jewellery in her Paris hotel room earlier this month.
Kardashian West's close friend and assistant Steph Sheppard broke the news in a statement posted to Kardashian West's website and subscription app on Tuesday.
The app, through which fans pay $4.49 a month for access to exclusive pictures and videos from Kardashian's private life, has not been updated since the Paris incident on October 3.
"Hey guys. So you may have noticed we haven't updated the app in a couple weeks," Sheppard wrote. "Keeks is taking some much-needed time off."
Sheppard told fans to not "worry", as there would be new content coming from "Kim's closest friends, fam and [herself]".
"Stay tuned for new posts and app takeovers! Thanks so much for your support for my girl."
The statement comes after sister Khloe Kardashian told Ellen DeGeneres the family would "pull back" on social media.
"It's a wake-up call for all of us," she said in an interview last week.
The family's reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, has also been placed on hiatus.
