With mixed weather conditions lately the course is holding up nicely, but more rain is needed.
On Wednesday the vets played a three games in one event, an Ambrose, 4BBB,and foursome, and there were 54 players. The winners were Trevor Jones and Allan Weller, second were Peter Christie and Bill Sullivan, and third were Tony Shelley and Graham Troth.
The NTP on the 3rd and 12th was won won by Richard Lucas with a shot that finished 0.56cm from the hole and T.Hall won the 7th and 26th.
On Thursday 33 players contested the chook run with the winner, Dave Stackpool carding 21pts winning on a countback, next was Mark Blanch 21, Neville Blanch 20c/b, Paul Muir 20c/b, Steven Foy 20, and Jim Bradshaw 19c/b.
The NTP winners were on the 3rd, Glenn Porter and on the 7th, l.Pope. As if he hasn't won enough umbrellas Barry Brown picked up the September one.
On Saturday the October Taree Toyoto monthly mug and the Drummond golf trophy was played for. The winner was Peter Christie with 69 nett on a count back.
A grade was won by Adrian Yeo 70 nett with Danny Bisby winning B grade with 69. The scratch winners were Rod Desborough winning A grade with 80, and Jim Bradshaw B grade with 87 after leaving a few putts out there.
The MRD Electrical medal was won by Adrian Yeo for A grade and Peter Christie won the B grade.
The Golf Club Motel long drives were won by Syd Gilfillan winning A grade, Mark Fotheringham B grade, and Paul Shepherd was the winner for C grade.
The NTP winners on the 1st and 10th, taking home the Wingham Plaza Butchers voucher was Paul Muir, 3rd and12 the Wingham Gourmet Meats Brian Roberts, 4th and 13th All About Conveyancing Rod Desborough, 7th and 16th Bayview Seafoods Larry Thompson, and the 9th and 18th Bent on Food Mark Fotheringham. Balls went to 74 nett.

On October 8 the Machins Sawmill foursomes championships will be played over 27 holes. a single stableford will be played for those not playing the foursome
October 15 will be a stableford multiplier with a singles in conjunction for Prostrate Cancer Awareness Ces Russel Trophy.
