The combined churches of Wingham will be conducting a Commissioning Service for the newly appointed Wingham High School Religious Education teacher, George Lawson.

The service will be held on Sunday September 18 at 2pm in the Baptish Church on the corner of Murray Road and Richardson Street.
Anyone interested is warmly invited to attend.
George and his wife Tracey are more recent arrivals in Wingham after Tracey was appointed the CEO of Manning Support Services in Taree.
George emigrated to Australia from Liverpool England about 11 years ago where he worked as a chippy. As well as continuing his trade in Australia George enrolled as a part-time student in Theology graduating earlier this year. He has had experience in Christian ministry at Tweed Heads, Port Macquarie and now at Wingham Baptist Churches.
George is looking forward to taking up his new position. Go along next Sunday to encourage and support him.
