Vendors were the Fahey family, Bizzy Brahman Stud and Nettle Creek Brangus and Charbray studs, along with Jomanda Brahmans and Mogul Brahmans and a total of 41 Brahman bulls sold to an average of $5402.
The Top price of $16,000 was paid for Lot 36, Jomanda Duramax 766 (AI) (D). By a JDH MR Elmo Manso son NCC Muscat 2061 and out of a Tartrus Redmount daughter in Jomanda Shannon 638, Jomanda Duramax was purchased by Brett Nobbs of NCC Brahmans at Duaringa, Qld.
Second top priced bulls of the sale was achieved by three Bizzy Bulls all reaching $10,000.
The first being Lot 5 Bizzy Legend 3306, selling to Brahman breeders Darren and Sue Kent from Ooline Brahman stud, Goovigen, Qld.
Next to meet the $10,000 mark was Lot 6 Bizzy Botswana 3343, son of Bungoona Botswana and out of Bizzy 2221 he was purchased by Mogul Brahman Stud of Casino.
Third bull to sell for $10,000 was Lot 17 Bizzy Miner 3516, by a homebred bull Bizzy Miner 3034 and was out of a Kandoona Romeo daughter. Purchased by RW Thomas and W Parish of Mummulgum..
Volume buyer of the day and first time purchasers at the Bizzy Sale, Mark and Belinda Wilson of Banana Station, Banana Qld, purchased five Red Bizzy Bulls for an avg $5900.
Mogul Brahman stud, sold seven bulls to average $4071.
