An early Nick Beacham try, which he converted, was countered by the Hawks to level the scores inside the first ten minutes. Justin Berry then scored to put Wingham ahead 10-6.
The Tigers then ran in three consecutive tries in six minutes to Nick Beacham, Garyn Burnes and Brendan Butler, all converted by Nick Beacham, to go to a 28-6 lead. A try just before the break made the score at half time 28-12.
Justin Berry added another try early in the second half. Brendan Butler put the game in the bag with a try ten minutes from full time. Soon after, Garyn Burnes scored under the posts. Nick Beacham's kick made the final score 44-12.

Under 18s
WINGHAM and Forster Tuncurry Under 18s were out of finals contention.
The Hawks scored back-to-back tries midway through the half to lead 10-0. A try to Jay Wood in the corner just before half time made the score 10-4 at the break.
Toby O'Donnell finished off a good play with a try in the corner, and Ryan Morris converted from the sideline to make the score 10-10. Minutes later, Toby O'Donnell scored again in the corner, this time from dummy half.
The lead was short-lived when the Hawks scored to go ahead 16-14 with just over ten minutes remaining.
The young Tigers had their hearts broken when a dropped ball saw a Forster player pick it up and run 100 metres to score under the posts. Another try in the final minute made the final score 26-14.

Ladies League Tag
THE Ladies League Tag game saw the Hawks score four tries before Tarni Grofos scored right on half time. Forster ran in six second half tries to win 52-4. (Tarni Grofos try.)
