Kasey explains that Robyn is the in-house fudge maker who has been in the business for 20 years.
Her husband, Kasey’s dad, used to make the rocky roads, and when he passed away Kasey stepped in and took his place.
Kasey currently makes 15 varieties of rocky road using an original family recipe.
She has dark, white and milk chocolate varieties with ingredients which include macadamias, cranberry, mint, and ginger.
She also makes rocky road logs which she says make a great gift, and they can be made to order.
The range includes other chocolate creations including freckles, bars, dipped lollies and honeycomb.
They sell at several of the local markets as well as a few shops in the area.
Kasey is also keen to branch out into making to order for kids parties and doing things to a colour or theme.
She moved up from Sydney about a year ago where she was working in pubs, and says that working in the family business at the markets is much nicer.
Plus, she says “I love chocolate! I’ve always loved chocolate, and here I get to eat it!”
You can check out Kasey and Robyn’s chocolates this Saturday at the Wingham Farmers’ Market, next to the coffee stall.
