On Saturday, in glorious weather, the annual Harvey Duncan Memorial two player ambrose was played. It was great to see the Duncan family in attendance to congratulate the winners of the great array of trophies. Congratulations go to the trophy donors Rod, Ian, Craig and Russell for job well done.

There was 74 starters in this very popular event, with some good stories told of incidents that happened out on the course, notably the hiccup that Richard Clarke faced on the 17th which turned out all right. Luckily he had Reid as his partner.
The winners were Peter Bell making a return to golf and his partner Scott Dwyer. Well done.The mixed winners were husband and wife team of Denise and Bob Polley.
Third place went to Gary Hinton and Paul Boyd, fourth Luke Schubert and Scott Polley with a great 65 of the stick, fifth Reid Brown and Richard Clarke, followed by Damo Moore and Aaron Hardy, Trevor and Rohan Abbott, James King and Cam Darby, Mark and Neville Blanch,John Aldous and Rod Desborough, Rod Brown and Ian Duncan.
The sharp shooters winning the NTP on the 1st and 10th Wingham Plaza Butchers David Blair, on the 3rd and 12th Caddies voucher Denise Polley, 4th and 13th All About Conveyancing Michael Couch, 7th and 16th Bayview Seafood Bob Polley,and on the 9th and18th Bent on Food Scott Blanch put a shot in 0.18m from hole.

On Wednesday July 20 the weather was not the best and 26 hearty golfers played for the John Strybus Trophy and the winners were Brian Roberts 43, next was Neville Bell 40, Ron Wilson 36. The NTP winners were on the 3rd and 12th David Homewood and on the 7th and 16th Terry Hall.
