FOUR jockeys were injured in a massive race fall at the first turn in the opening event at Taree-Wingham Race Club's TAB meeting on Monday.

Bazza's Boy (Samantha Clenton) was the first to come to grief with Blinkin Rules (Jackson Murphy) and Casino Bride (Nyssa Burrells) both falling over the top of that horse. As a consequence, Lady Lobban (Kaylee Kirkwood) and Nonino (Taylor Marshall) were badly interfered with with both jockeys being dislodged.
Racing NSW Steward, Danny Greer reported at at 1.40pm on Monday that Samantha Clenton has suspected fractures to her left leg and collarbone and has been transported to Taree Hospital.
Kaylee Kirkwood has minor concussion and has also been taken to Taree Hospital while Jackson Murphy complained of rib pain. He was also transported to Taree Hospital.
Nyssa Burrells complained of general soreness and was also taken to Taree Hospital.
Taylor Marshall escaped injury.
It is understood two of the five jockeys will be airlifted to John Hunter Hospital.
