With intensive training from coach Andy Goodman during the week, the team took to the field eager to put the practice to work.
Both teams started on the attack determined to get the early points but defence held strong.
The ball went from one end of the field to the other but both goalkeepers were up to the task and the half time score was nil all.
The second half went pretty much the same until Jesse Clarkson, following coach Andy's advice of "you need to follow the ball in", did just that and took advantage of a goalie fumble to net the ball.
The under 16s tried hard to level the score but the 15s defence held them off and they ran out of time.
Final score 1-0 to the 15s.
