OUR green keeper Brad did a very good job in preparing the green for play and then decided he would try it out and skipped a team with Barry Kershaw and Graeme Mansfield but they brought in the winners for the day - Ian Furner, Andrew Leung and Snow Trenchard with their +12.

Brian Williams, Ross Piggott and the ever-improving Glen Gilford had a comfortable + 77 victory over Graeme Ireland, Mick Labry and Jey Pereira. Dallas Hammond, Peter Holden and Allan Dodd got a + 5 against Bob Hardy, Rex Thomas and Allan Messer.
Daniel Leadbeater, Mick Hollebone and Tim Richardson sneaked in with a +2 against Jim Gillogly, Stan Burnell-Jones and Peter Tutty.
Also with a +2 margin win were Greg Bartlett, Ben Wolters and Jake Kennett over Col Hinton, Jay Nicholson and Guy Watts.
Wednesday Twilight
PLUMBING is not only John Crossingham’s forte but he goes pretty well at bowls also, especially when he plays with Tony Lowman and they won the event by defeating Mick Hollebone and visitor Ray Isbel 15-10.
Hunter Payton and Allan Dodd put it all over Wayne Goward and Mick Harris 21-9 and playing out a draw were the Gillogly brothers Jim and John against Peter Howarth and Tony Colchen.
Friday Twilight
THIS event will now commence at 3.30pm with the advent of shorter daylight playing time.
Last week’s best result went to John Black and Leslie Burnell-Jones with a +10 against Ben Wolters and Chris Willy.
Ian Furner, Lillian Cross and visitor Ruth got a + 9 against Mick Hollebone, Yvette Furner and Zini Wolters.
Jim Gillogly was assisted by firstly Ron Lollback then Rex Dawson to get up by a shot over Stan Burnell-Jones and Leonie Gilford.
Saturday Open
SOME light rain did not deter the 26 bowlers who turned up with the best card result going to Chris Kane and Peter Holden with their 25-9 win over Narelle Foy and Allan Cox.
Also with a big win of + 17 were Graeme Ireland, Peter Hall and Leslie Burnell-Jones against Bob Hardy, Leonie Gilford and Tim Richardson.
Rex Dawson, Daniel Leabeater and once again Glen Gilford defeated Steve Matheson, John Black and David O’Donnell 27-19.
Denise Matheson, the current ladies single champion, teamed up with Chris Willey to defeat Stan Burnell-Jones and Paul Swan 25-18.
Greg Bartlett, Snow Trenchard and Graeme Mansfield defeated Col Watson, Lillian Cross and Mick Hollebone 19-16.

THE draw has been made and players involved are reminded to check the notice board.
This Saturday
OUR 2 Grade are at home to Tuncurry who trail slightly on the result sheet and this game should decide who could become the winners of this grade.
No 5’s travel to Sporties at Tuncurry and the 7’s are at home against Lansdowne.
