FORMER Wingham Cricket Club player Jonathon Craig-Dobson has just finished his second cricketing season for Sydney University Cricket Club and again has been an award recipient at the award’s evening held on Saturday April 16.

This year Jonathon was awarded the ‘Most Valuable All-Rounder Award.’
Jonathon's statistics for the season were batting 276 runs at an average of 21.23 and bowling 37 wickets at an average of 18.92.
Over the last two seasons Jonathon has taken 81 wickets the most in the club.
Throughout the season Jonathon has progressed through the grades to second grade, which did not make the semi-finals so Jonathon then played in third grade and was ‘Man of the Match’ for the semi-final with 46 not out and 4/39 off 12 overs, happily third grade went on to win the grand final.
Jonathon’s passion for cricket has not changed since he played for Wingham, he loves the game and is a dedicated member of the Elite Athlete Cricket Program at Sydney University.
"The team spirit is one of the greatest aspects of the game," said Jonathon.
