Organisations to receive the much needed funding were:
- Caffrey's Flat Community Hall Inc for relining and painting the inside of the hall.
- Mondrook Public Hall Association for the replacement and upgrade of guttering, a water tank, pump and toilets.
- Mooral Creek Hall and Progression Association Inc for a kitchen refresh.
- Wherrol Flat Hall Inc for an upgrade to kitchen facilities.
- Wingham and District Preschool Kindergarten for a new oven.
- Wingham Showground Trust for renovations to the woolshed.
- Wingham Men's Shed Inc to purchase a twin drum sander.
“As in past years, we had a huge response to the call for applications for a grant under the CBP program and so the selection of the successful applicants needed to follow a strict set of guidelines which ensure the integrity of the program," Member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead, said.
“Raising funds for many organisations is often very difficult, so these grants will enable projects to be started and others to be finished, all to the benefit of their local communities.
Community organisation who were not successful on this occasion are encouraged to look for the opening of applications in the 2016 round of CBP grants next July.
