SOME people love a man with a mo, and some dread the month that is Movember for what is a blight on the aesthetic view of men (this journalist falls into the latter category, and hipster beards - well, don't get me started!).

Whichever way you see it though, the proliferation of the mo brings benefits to men's health, and not just in the satisfaction the mo wearer has of knowing they are providing amusement to others. After all a happier person is a healthier person, and some mos do elicit giggles.
This year, as reported in the Chronicle on November 18, Scott and his staff at Wingham Gourmet Meat and Chicken have participated in Movember to raise awareness and funds for men's health.
Scott and the boys are clean shaven now December has arrived, and wish to thank their customers for their generosity. They raised approximately $365 in donations, all of which will be going to the Movember foundation.
While Scott says they will definitely be making mo-growing an annual event for the shop, he and the boys, are not such huge fans they wish to sport the growths the entire year. Thank you from the journalist.
