A 63-year-old man was airlifted from Wingham Showground to John Hunter Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service on Thursday, November 19 at approximately 12.45pm.

The man was cleaning his gutters and touched a power line which resulted in him being electrocuted and thrown to the ground
He sustained suspected breaks to his hip and pelvis as a result of the fall.
