The centre, which is free to use and has been operational since June, offers a safer and more efficient way to store and recycle household hazardous waste, including items such as batteries, paint, oil, pool chemicals and gas bottles.
Funds for the centre came from a $73,040 Waste Less Recycle More grant from the NSW government.
"This recycling facility has been upgraded to help improve the year-round collection and storage of household problem wastes which will be a great asset to the Manning community," Mr Bromhead said.
"Open seven days a week, the CRC will complement the existing Chemical CleanOut events to ensure that these wastes are kept out of landfill where they may harm the environment, and help to minimise waste and boost recycling."
