The Tigers' under 9s team, coached by Andrew Gilbert, is taking on the Quakers Hill Destroyers, coached by former Wingham boy James Zahra.
This game is the first annual City vs Country clash against these two teams and who knows, it may well get bigger in the next few years.
"This game is not only a chance to test ourselves against really tough opposition but also for our kids to experience country life and hospitaly," James Zahra said.
He also went on to say that players to look out for include big forwards Ethan Filipo and Billy Lloyd, fullback Jacob Zahra and halfback Kodo Ellia.
The team scored 326 and conceded only 86 winning 12 out of 13 games. "We are not an overly big side but we pride ourselves on defence and determination," James said.
The Wingham team isn't short on stars either, led by Jett Gilbert, Jonathan Aitken and Reuben Ruttley, the team has been steamrolling teams in group three for the past three years.
Andrew Gilbert is very excited about the game and said "we always play against teams from our own area, so to get the opportunity to take on quality opposition such as Quakers Hill will give us a good guess as to where we are in terms of skill. Also 9s play mini up here but Quakers hill play mod rules, so we will be playing mod and this will further test us, but we welcome the challenge."
The game is shaping up as a great contest so if you can, come along to the complex at 3.30 on Saturday and watch a great match.
