"IT doesn't make sense to make a mess," said an angry Ron Sky last week. The Wingham Advancement Group member had been attempting to scrub graffiti off the new bins in Central Park and the toilet block at Wingham Riverside Reserve.

Despite using thinners on the black ink, Ron struggled to remove the mess.
In the end he painted over the walls of the toilets but was left to try alternate methods to clean up the council bins.
He took decisive action to report the graffiti to Greater Taree City Council and said he would also report the incidences to the police.
Ron admits it has been a while since he has seen much graffiti around the areas he looks after but said the public toilets were often left in a mess.
Only a few weeks ago Ron discovered someone had set fire to a toilet roll in the women's toilets in Central Park.
"For some reason the women's toilets are the worse," he admits.
Ron suggested that instead of vandalising the town, the culprits could better serve their community by spending time picking up litter along the roadsides.
