Special guest presenter, Jonty Hemmingway, gave everyone an insight into her career and her recent State and national junior beef cattle judging wins.
The inaugural Wingham Show Society President's Award was won by Charlie Turner, for his ongoing commitment to volunteering throughout the year.
The events over the past year would not have been possible without a team effort. As acting presidents since February this year, Ray Brown and Elaine Turner paid tribute to the incredible efforts of their show secretary Raelene Marshall, all the volunteers, members, event stewards and sponsors, who assisted in making the past year such a success.
The society celebrated a great year of events, with a continued increase in visitors to all events that has helped them raise much needed funds. It can now look forward to a bigger and better year for the rest of 2015 and 2016.
Events that are currently being planned for include the Akoostik Festival in October, November Campdraft, Summertime Rodeo on Saturday January 2nd, Wingham Annual Show in March and Wingham Beef Week in May.
Newly elected president Elaine Turner and the newly formed committee look forward to another successful year working together to create events that our entire community can enjoy.
