Species caught in both the River and Bluewater Division included Flathead, whilst tailor and snapper were also caught in the Bluewater division.
A total of 22 klgs was weighed in by Assistant Weigh Master Chris Burdett with the River Section taken out by Todd Green just pipping his dad Trevor Green whilst Gary Green took out the Bluewater Division ahead of Wayne Reeves and president Jack Muxlow.
A total of 23 fishing club members attended the barbecue/weigh in and it was great to see Donna Sullivan and Allan Vowles back with us after health issues and all wished them a continued recovery.
Donna's visit was rewarded with her being the winner of the club vouchers and Maree Boughton, who with husband Derek had only the day before returned home from a trip to Queensland, won the Greenaway's Taxi Voucher.
Catering officer Ron Sullivan was treated to an early birthday cake - for his day next month - a slight error on the part of treasurer Pam Muxlow but enjoyed by all nevertheless.
Members are reminded that the next outing will be held over the weekend of September 19-20 when it is hoped the good fishing will continue for those who can get to wet a line.
Always remember to take care with fishing.
Pam Muxlow
