David Embury and his business Bamboo by Logan Leigh are finalists in four categories while Wingham Beef Exports' entry has been chosen to represent the Mid North Coast at the NSW Business Chamber State Awards in the excellence in export category.
David Embury of Bamboo by Logan Leigh accepting the sustainability award at the 2015 Manning Great Lakes Gloucester Business Awards from Ron Posselt, general manager of Greater Taree City Council, which sponsored the award. Mr Embury and his business are finalists in four categories of the Mid North Coast Business Awards.
The Mid North Coast awards night is at Rydges Hotel, Port Macquarie on Friday, September 18.
Manning finalists are:
- Business leader: David Embury of Bamboo by Logan Leigh, Taree and Donna Carrier of Bent on Food/Bent on Life, Wingham
- Young entrepreneur: Linda Bryant of The Photography Hub, Taree
- Young business executive: Christopher Zanardi of Wingham Beef Exports, Wingham
- Excellence in innovation: Bamboo by Logan Leigh, Taree
- Excellence in business ethics: Dundaloo Support Services, Taree
- Excellence in small business: Bamboo by Logan Leigh, Taree
- Employer of choice: Dundaloo Support Services
- Excellence in business: Jack and Co Food Store, Taree
- Excellence in sustainability: Bamboo by Logan Leigh, Taree
- Excellence in export: Wingham Beef Exports, Wingham
Wingham Beef Exports was the only entrant in the export category to pass the judges' grades.
