COMPETITION was from the 500 yard range with a lovely winter day without wind, sighting was very good and the conditions perfect, and this showed with some of the club members producing outstanding scores. Mike Millen fired two excellent rounds, Tony Moon and Jim Blackmore had very good rounds only dropping one point each.

F-class competitors were on fire with junior Todd Barnard whose fine marksmanship keeps getting better each week, shot one perfect round, senior Phil Costa also fired one perfect round. Rob Bartlett had two sensational rounds as well as Tony Galati.
A-grade was won by Mike Millen with a fantastic score of 100.16, followed by both Jim Blackmore and Tony Moon on 99.9, followed by A-grade champion Peter Thurtell, 92.9.
B-grade was won by Brian Mavin with 90.3, followed by Chris Barnard 89.4 and Peter Bell 87.1. Lyndon Thurtell retired after shooting one round of 50.5.
F-class A was very exciting with Phil Costa only dropping one point for a final total of 119.9, Rob Bartlett was next with an extremely high score of 117.9, Tony Galati had a fabulous first round of 59.4 for a total of 115.7 and Mike Rogerson 110.5.
F-class B was won by Todd Barnard with a grand total of 118.12, followed by Ronan Moon who fired a very good second round of 57.2 for a total of 112.2 and Forbes Thurtell finished on 92.3.
Handicap trophy went to Phil Costa.
