IT was a real championship battle for half the game and on the 11th end only 14 shots were on the cards with the score being seven apiece. It was then that the No. 1 Grade players of Tom Moore and Steve Matheson took control against the No. 4 Grade pairing of John Black and David O'Donnell. Tom and Steve then piled on the shots winning all but one of the remaining ends to take the final by the big margin of 25-8.

Friday Mixed
AS there were insufficient players to have the lights switched on at least 14 keen supporters of the event turned up to play until darkness put an end to their games. This is a very worthwhile outing and if we can find several others to support those keen that are turning up it will assist the club.
