After being diagnosed with a malignant tumour on her kidney at age five, and enduring months of chemotherapy, Jordyn went onto become the face of Camp Quality.

Her happy smile helped raise thousands of dollars for the campaign to set up new mini camps for young children with cancer.

But it was also Jordyn’s ability to make a game of wearing tights on her head to cover her baldness that saw her become a shining light of courage for other young children going through treatment. Jordyn and her little sister Charli sparked an entire internet challenge and helped boost the self esteem of sick kids everywhere.

“I’m a very proud mum,” admits Jordyn’s mum Tarin-Lee Miller.

Jordyn will find out in July if she has been chosen as a State finalist.
