He also delighted in telling her he had a "cino with a baby in it."
"They were so delightful and hilarious," said Little Red Café and Takeaway owner Cynthia Burke.
Twenty eight children visited the Wingham Plaza for a school excursion and after some big learning experiences at the supermarket, butchers and the bakers it was time to sit down to a babycino at the café.
It is the second year the children have visited Cynthia's café and she can't wait for next time.
"It is something really nice to look forward to," she said.
While out and about, the children had been welcomed by Rod and Sean of the Wingham Plaza Butchery. To the delight of the children they were shown the involved process of how sausages are made.
The children were impressed with how Rod twisted and tied the sausages before checking out the cool room.
Rod has become a dab hand at showing children how to make a good sausage. The preschool has been visiting his butchers shop since the 1990s.
"I really enjoy it," he said. Rod admits the children have been coming to visit since he was just 16.
At Coles the children were shown the different fruit and veg available and then enjoyed some cut up fruit for crunch and sip.
No trip to the shops is complete without a visit to a bakery. The youngsters walked away from Griffo's Bakery with four loaves of bread for their sausage sandwiches and lovely smells of the bakery forever implanted in their minds.
For nearly 20 years excursions have been big on the agenda at the preschool and another group of children had a similar experience recently when they visited Isabella Street businesses Wingham Gourmet Meat and Chicken, Granty's Fruit and Veg and Pottsy's Bakehouse.
