In November 2014, the Wingham Chronicle reported the plight of the family, as Sky had been undergoing treatment for stage 3 grade t4 breast cancer, while her husband Luke was suffering a back problem that meant he could barely move.
Sky has completed chemotherapy and radiotherapy, however she still has a lot of treatment to come. The next step is a full hysterectomy, and the bills and travel costs are still mounting up.
The benefit night will cost $20 a head and will include live entertainment and cheese platter. There will be no cost for small children.
The evening starts at 7.30pm and concludes at 11.30pm, however children are only allowed in the club until 10pm.
Bookings can be made by calling Club Old Bar on 6553 2767, or event organiser Debbie Mitchell on 6553 2767 or 0447 437912.
Debbie requests that people book early, to allow for catering.
