This is the second time Emily has qualified for the Nationals, and it’s a good bet it won’t be the last.
This year the pair won the open keyhole race in the Western performance show, and Emily also placed as the highest-placed youth.
At the same show Emily placed third in Showmanship in her age class, and 3rd in Hunter Under Saddle 13 years and under.
Emily says she prefers the Western style of riding but she is no slouch at English style either, winning Champion Youth, and Reserve National Champion for dressage at the 2014 NSW Appaloosa Championships.
She says her goal is to keep amassing her points and reach the different levels in dressage.
