MidCoast Water has engaged external consultants to undertake an independent investigation into the cause of the incident, the organisation’s response and any improvements that are required.
Any members of the public interested in contributing to the independent investigation into the incident can email their concerns to investigations@midcoastwater.com.au.
Crews flushed and tested the water continuously over the weekend. Some customers may still notice minor chlorine taste and odour. All areas are well within the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.
MidCoast Water is continuing to work with all local schools and providing bottled water to those where a chlorine taste and smell is still obvious.
