The sponsored swims will take place between 10-12 raising funds for people with disabilities in the community.
Merrilee Doel is one of the Manning Valley's most experienced swimming instructors, having just received her 20 year AUSTSWIM badge.
Merilee was one of the first to put her hand up to do laps for the fundraiser.
She will be joined by pool manager Garry Smith and lifeguard Jenny Kesby.
Merrilee said the swimathon is for the whole community to take part.
"Little kids can come down and swim a whole lap for example," she said.
"And if you don't want to swim you can get on the bike and do some k's."
A stationary bike will be on site for a riding challenge.
The day is for all ages with an inflatable for the kids to play on and there will be a sausage sizzle too.
There is still time to register and get family and friends to sponsor you.
