The eight-year-old competed in his first competitive NSSA swimming carnival at Gloucester to bring back five medals for his club.
Against some very experienced NSSA competitors Joshua won his eight-year-old competitions in the 25m butterfly, following up with second in backstroke and freestyle and finishing out in third place for breast stroke.
Joshua concluded the day's events with third place in junior boys (10 years and under) 100m individual medley.
Asked what he enjoyed the most about the day, Joshua said he just loved swimming but the best was beating some of the older boys in the 100m individual medley.
Joshua's success followed on from an exciting school swimming carnival for Wingham Public School where Joshua won the Junior Boys Swimming Championship 2015.
