Emergency service crews were called to the scene about 5.45am.
Police said woman’s vehicle appeared to have crossed to the wrong side of the road in wet weather and hit an embankment before coming to rest back on the road.
SES crews used the ‘jaws of life’ to cut away part of the vehicle to free the trapped woman who was transported by road ambulance to Manning Base Hospital in a stable condition suffering head, arm and leg injuries.
One lane of the Bucketts Way was closed for a period while the woman was freed from the car and the vehicle removed from the road.
