Robert Allan goes into the next round with his 31-22 victory over Glen Dennes. Also progressing is Peter Williams and he defeated Greg Bartlett 31-17 and Graeme Ireland accounted for Craig Martin 32-12.
All going well other games, both major and minor should be on this Thursday – so players and markers make sure you are award of the draw details.
Wednesday Dad’s Army
BRIAN Williams, Barry Kershaw and Guy Watts had a +15 win over Greg Bartlett, Rex Thomas and Peter Tutty.
Col Hinton, George Floyd and Winston Latimore got a +8 victory against Graeme Ireland, Tony Baker and Max Cumberland.
Mal Cannon, Ben Wolters and Jake Kennett got a +5 over Dallas Hammond, Mick Hollebone and Gerry De Pyper.
Wednesday Twilight
THE entries dropped off last week with only 12 playing socially – so this week it is anticipated that the numbers will increase and good prizes are guaranteed.
Friday mixed
THE winning pair was George Floyd and Robyn Gillogly with their +11 over Ron Lollback and Denise Polley. Runners-up were Jim Gillogly and Laurelle Dennes with a +10 against Ben Wolters and Lillian Cross. In other games Glen Dennes and Mick Hollebone had a 21-14 win over Mal Cannon and Leonie Gilford; Allan Cox, David O’Donnell and Sini Wolters defeated Glenn Gilford, Laurie Clarke and June Pedron 15-13.
Saturday Social
ROSS Piggott, Toa Proctor and Mick Hollebone had a good win 25-17 against Jim Gillogly, David O’Donnell and Garry Williams.
Graeme Ireland, Dallas Hammond and Allan Dodd got up 23-19 against Robert Allan, Glen Gilford and Snow Trenchard.
Greg Bartlett, Rex Thomas and Tony Baker had a 22-17 victory over Laurie Mullen, hunter Payton and Tim Richardson, however the losers here were the lucky team in the draw taking home the ‘bacon.’
This Saturday is to be social again but the pennant selectors are hoping for more entries so they can make some decisions as to the format of teams for the season. There is only one other visitation for a trial and that is against Manning Point on February 7.
