Taree Police inspector Christine George, explained this is a safety condition made by the organisers of the BYO event.
According to inspector George, traffic conditions will be improved this year, as tickets won't be scanned at the gate.
Cars will drive straight in and park. Patrons will then walk to get their tickets scanned before entering the track-proper.
Security will be on hand to check for glass bottles as spectators enter the event.
"The organisers of the Troy Bayliss Classic have engaged police co-operation for the entire event. We will be there from start to finish, ensuring a safe and family-orientated event," Inspector George said.
