Last Saturday an 'in-house' trial was held with some changes carried out throughout the encounters to give the selectors some indication as to the positional format and teams for the competition.

THE draw is on the board and the first round commences Thursday week at 5pm and markers will also be required so please check the sheet.

Wednesday Dad's Army
WINSTON Lattimore and Allan Messer had a 23-12 win over Rex Thomas and Gerry De Pyper; Ross Piggott and Dick Connell won 21-17 against Mal Cannon and Mick Hollebone; playing out a 16 all draw were Ben Wolters and Jake Kennett against Dally Hammond and Guy Watts.
Wednesday twilight
WEDNESDAY as there were only 12 regulars who turned up two social clashes took place with some embarrassing results for Rex Dawson and Peter Kriss.
Friday mixed
THIS event commences at 4.30pm with 20 players entering last week with the organisers having problems determining the results as there was only one end separating the teams. However, the lucky pair was Lillian Cross and Mal Cannon with their +10 against Graeme Walker and Loddie Dennes.
Janet Nash and Allan Cox also had a +10 against Glenn Dennes and his sister from Penrith area; Robyn Gillogly and Ron Lollback had a +10 against Karen Carlton and Ben Wolters; Tina Rushworth playing with her grandson won with +9 against Narelle Foy and Rex Thomas; Maureen Hollebone and Jim Gillogly had a +9 against Mick Hollebone and Sini Wolters.
