New Year’s Eve celebrations will take place on Wednesday, December 31 beginning at 6pm along the foreshore.
Greater Taree City Council’s team leader of tourism and public relations, Donna Hudson is looking forward to the celebrations.
“We invite the community to come along and get a spot along the foreshore,” Donna said.
“It’s going to be a great night, so bring your picnic gear, chairs, and join in the fun starting at 6pm.
“The Taree New Year’s eve celebrations are one of the largest free family events in the Manning Valley. We had a successful event last year, and we are hoping this year is just as good,” Donna said.
There will be range of activities for the family including live entertainment, rides, food stalls and fireworks.
“The live entertainment includes local bands and performers for all to enjoy and, of course, don’t forget the fireworks from 9pm,” said Donna. “Bring the whole family and let’s celebrate the new year together.”
