Lorraine joined Wingham Branch in 1957 and has worked tirelessly for the Red Cross and community.
She held many positions of office, eventually becoming zone rep. for Zone 4 of the Mid North Coast.
Our branch members attended Lorraine’s funeral service and formed a guard of honour to mark our love and respect for our friend, our member and our leader.
Our branch held a street stall early December and raised a pleasing amount to send to head office to be used where needed, including towards aide for Ebola victims.
We will resume in February 2015, so from all our members to the Wingham community, have a safe and happy Christmas.
