Summer time is rodeo time
THE Summertime Rodeo has a long history at the Wingham Showgrounds. January 3 is set to bigger and better than ever with more than 4500 people expected to watch the adrenaline fuelled action.
The Wingham rodeo has become the blueprint for many others nationally, the organisational recipe followed and replicated many times over. Competitors and spectators travel great distances because they simply love this rodeo with its top class riders, animals and crowd pleasing events.
Some of the exciting action events that you will see at the rodeo include BULL RIDING, which is the most popular rodeo riding event and the most dangerous.
The SADDLEBRONC, that is considered the classic rodeo event and this competition is definitely not for beginners. The LADIES BARREL RACE. This is an all female event that tests the speed and agility of both cowgirl and horse.
