We returned on Wednesday after an all too short visit but it was great to catch up with them all.

LAST Thursday I attended my first Nabiac School 'Old Girls' Reunion lunch held at the Nabiac Greenhouse Café.

Twenty-four ex-students from classes going back to the early 50s gathered to catch up and reminisce.

Lots of memories came flooding back over lunch and I and several others had brought along school photos which were handed around.

Four of the women had birthdays during November and included my cousin Dianne (Greaves) sisters Roslyn and Gwenda (Mavin) and Colleen (Maurer) and I arranged a small surprise cake which they shared.

Most of those attending still live either in the Manning, Gloucester or Tuncurry area with Colleen having travelled the longest distance from Maitland. There are plans to have another maybe next year and track down a few more of our fellow pupils. Thanks to Dianne and Glenda and all others involved in organising the get together.

PLEASED to hear well-known Tinonee gentleman, James Gollan is back home and going OK after a short stay in hospital. James has been enjoying a visit from daughter Debra of Wagga and I hear he is looking forward to attending the final Tinonee Memorial School of Arts Hall 'Country Music Concert' on Sunday December 14.

DEEPEST sympathy is extended to Diane and Laurie Murphy of Tinonee on the passing of Diane's mum, Fiona Flood of Taree, formerly of Granville South, on Friday November 14 aged 88 years. A graveside funeral service for Fiona was held at Manning Great Lakes Memorial Gardens Lawn Cemetery on Tuesday November 18.

LIZ Burns, CMS mission worker, is currently visiting the Wingham Anglican Parish and enjoying the hospitality of Wendy and John Gluyas of Mondrook. Liz was guest preacher at both St Luke's Tinonee and St Matthew's Wingham Church services on Sunday and enjoyed an informal morning tea with parishioners after both services. She attended a coffee morning at Maureen Turner's home on Tuesday and later in the evening she joined the

Bible study group at Tinonee's St Luke's The culmination of Liz's visit will be her attendance as guest speaker at the Parish Christmas dinner at St Matthew's Fellowship Hall on Friday November 28 commencing at 6.30pm for 7pm.

SUE and Andrew Prentice have returned home after a very emotional trip to England to say their final farewell to grandson little Lachie Whitely of Essex after his brave battle with cancer. Sue and Andrew would like to thank everyone who kept them in their prayers during a very difficult time.

JUDGING by the number of cars that were parked around Tinonee Public School on Sunday morning, the 'Father and Son' breakfast with Dr Arne Rubinstein was a great success.

Coming up on Thursday December 4 at 11am is the 'thank you' volunteers morning tea.

The annual school presentation day is set down for Thursday December 11 at the MEC and will commence at 10am with tickets on sale at Video Ezy for $6 or online, Please note this year the tickets will not be available for purchase from the school.

Tomorrow evening November 27 at 7.30pm will be the Tinonee Historical Society's final 2014 meeting and all members. It is held at Tinonee Historical Museum at 32 Manchester Street, Tinonee. The meeting will be followed by a Christmas supper and all are invited to bring along a small plate of goodies to share. The museum will continue to operate as usual with a break over the Christmas New Year period.
